i have just bought a t reg ford puma but the previous owner got a new 3 button fob fitted on the existing key cos the old one broke. cos of this the fob doesn't work with the central locking as it needs coding? i haven't got the red master key but i seen on the internet that u can re-code an existing fob yourself but because this is a new fob do i have to go to fords and have the new fob programmed to the car or can i do it myself???

fords are wanting 85 quid to do it so if i could do it myself it would be good
