Praising My Fiesta

Featured Replies

Had my 1.6 tdci titanium since last July and am still amazed as to its size when parked next to other cars in a car park or in front of my brothers mk1 focus.I have had the mk 3 5 and 6 and now the 7 and each time they are getting bigger and bigger. Also The speed smoothness and how quiet the diesel is when giving it some up and down the A55 is impressive. The only down side is I miss the leather and panther black of my old mk6 ghia. :P

Yeah I love mine too :D I just like looking at it, except at the moment because its so dirty :( Also love how nippy the 1.6TDci is. Overall just really fun to drive :)

loved mine today, as I've been driving sensibly of late to get the mpg up ( last tank gave me 29.95, but only tried half way through). But today, I pulled out of a junction in a village, at 33.9, and booted it, skipping 4th, and rocked it up to 70 in no time, lost it to 33.7 but soon went back to .8.

Then at the roundabout at the end of the road, I almost got it to 7000 rpm, something my tdci would never do, never got that in the red, it reminded me why I got petrol this time, although the diesel would take off in 4th, the petrol I find has to drop to 3rd!

Loving it, just not the constant cleaning!

I find it so much fun to drive & if you give it a bit of stick, it goes quite well for the size of the engine.

I used to get 36 out of the Rover 75 1.8T before, and the same out of the Fiesta.

I love my diesel zetec s as it's a motorway cruiser that's slammed, looks rapid so low and costs me pennies to run. £20 a year road tax, £40 every 2 weeks for fuel on my 500 mile commute.

The only thing that let's it down is the finance remaining on it.

Ps my wheels arent buckled!
