Just noticed that fluid of some sort has trickled down my 04 Ford Focus brake pedal, brakes seem to be a little less effective, any ideas?

    Seals gone in the Master Cylinder. Needs to be sorted ASAP

    Have had a proper look and found that an air freshner tied up at the top of pedal was diverting fluid from the clutch pedal over to brake pedal, there was more in clutch pedal rubber.

    When feeling about at the top of clutch pedal there's a little fluid there.
