Ghia With No Air Conditioning?

Hello all, i'm a newbie on here, a few hours ago i brought home my first ford, a small fiesta 16valve ghia with the 1.25 engine, it has 119,000 miles on the clock, service invoices, loads of MOT's, handbook, 1/4 tank of petrol, Ford alloys, all for £490! Up until yesterday i owned a 1988 volvo 740 saloon, (great car, comfy ride, mega road tax, mega insurance renewal!)

The advertisement said that the ghia model had air conditioning, (not that its likely to be needed in the UK, but i have a kind of love affair with it!), The button is blanked off in my car, and to the left is the air recirculation button...hmmm i thought ghias have AC as standard...never mind, love the rest of the car, but was just a little surprised...

Needless to say it needs a good ol'd TLC day, and my general eyeballing,

Things i have noticed:

The heater controls stuck in the warm position, (rekon its the pull cable has come off)

The passenger side mirror is held in via 2 screws??! (guess its been snapped off then botched in place via this method..

Electric mirrors arent working...

Boot lock button not working?! (push it nowt happened)

Not looked anywhere else in the car, will do more tommorow!
