Mountune 155Ps Upgrade, Effect On Insurance?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know roughly how much having the 155ps upgrade from mountune will affect my insurance price? I know it'll be different depending on many factors, but my last insurance price was almost exactly £1000, am 29, been driving 18 months with 1 year ncb.

Well it would go up quite alot as your inexperience.

Probs about £200 - £500

But go on money supermarket and do some quotes.

155ps...is that right?! I thought it was just 140?! If its 155...how much is that and how the hell do they get it to do that!?

It is right, it's the new upgrade.

WOH! :o

do they use cams in the upgrade? that still under warranty?

Far as I know it's all still covered by warrenty.

It's not a huge difference I dont think.

155 is a big jump...I wana know how! The old racing puma was a 1.7 and was 155ps standard...that had different cams, exhasut, inlet, map and revved very high!

Go on the website and look then...It's clearly explained

Yer they use different cams and it voids the powertrain warranty section
