Cost To Replace Front+Rear Bumper?

Featured Replies

I recently pranged my rear bumper on the skinniest !Removed! tree I've ever (not) seen and it looks like its come loose on the right hand edge and I've shattered the foglight.

My front bumper has had a hairline crack on the passenger side which isn't visible, so I left it for the time being but I might as well get it replaced at the same time, as well as getting my driver's wing mirror replaced with the blindspot glass.

Any idea on the approximate cost? My car is Ocean blue, which I know they've discontinued so that might add a bit extra...

E-Bay the first stop parts shop £42 fiesta Mk7 front bumper primed ready for spraying probably cost around £40 to spray fit your self if you your any way handy with a socket set, just swapping like for like

Unfortunately, my socketing skills are non existent, I'm guessing it'll be a minimum of £200 if I take it to a workshop?

If its just a crack and none of the bumper is actualy missing they may be able to patch the back of the crack with fibre glass knitting the crack, light skim of filler and a respray save you £100 igleast mate,

I had a hairline crack too, on the drivers side, so got it replaced and it was £200 for the front! Oh and 2 days, but that was Ford!

Ouch! £400 is probably what I'm looking at for both then? @_@

That's the wrong one.

Perhaps you could be more elaborate Keith and direct the fiesta owner to the correct model he requires,

Even to say why it’s wrong and what he should look out for in order to purchase the correct one,

We all give positive advise to help to the best of our ability,

Nobody was a Nelson posting on their thread,

As I’m not a fiesta owner myself I was unaware that the specific bumper I was directing him (and all the readers of this thread) to was the wrong part for his specific model but im certian its for a MK7 fiesta,

I also inserted the link merely as a rough estimate of price not a recommendation as if you believe everything you read on these forums you would end up one messed up kid!

I have removed the link to the wrong bumper in the event that one of the member's with fists full of cash actually buys one During this Global recession

bottom line: dont be so quick to point the finger when you cant produce otherwise ;)

Here you go, front bumper but it is in hot magenta Front Bumper

Rear Bumper Rear Bumper

Hope this helps!

Get over yourself, jeez.

Here's one I found for you, correct colour as well.

Ocean Blue Rear Bumper

Cheers guys. I was just looking for a ballpark repair figure for parts etc, no need to argue on my behalf. :P

Ocean Blue Rear Bumper

Oh Man :o , he really showed me didn’t he  sorry for over reacting on the thread lol

Just to add, if anyone is looking for a replacement rear bumper and has the bodykit, the rear bumper will be different. There are slots in the rear bumper on either bottom corner to accept the scallop shaped inserts on the bodykit, the standard bumper doesn't have these and there are no markings on the rear as far as I can see, to mark where these slots are.
