hi all!

Ive just bought a 52plate mk6 fiesta zetec and it came with what looks like 2 remote key fobs (one with each key). They didnt do anything (the light didnt even light up on the fob when i pressed the buttons). So I replaced the batteries in them and now the light works but they still dont unlock/lock the car! Im wondering if they are even remote key fobs or if they need reprogramming, if so can I do it without a pricey trip to ford?
