Fiesta Cd 6000 Volume Level

Featured Replies

First of all hi to all members,

I have an '06 Fiesta Zetec with the CD6000 radio, when I start the car or switch on the radio the volume is always at level 5 regardless of what it was before switch off and this level is too loud, I have read the audio booklet but this makes no mention of how to adjust this, have tried storing a station at a different level of volume, but this makes no difference, AVC (audio volume control) which adjusts the volume depending on the noise of the engine is switched to "off" so it cant be that so I am at a loss, has anyone also had this problem or know of a solution?

Thanks in advance

the only thing i can suggest is to pull the fuse on the radio to cut power. please ensure you have your radio code before you do this!! give it a while then pop the fuse back in, it will ask for the code so im hoping it would go back to factory reset!
