Does The Anti-Dazzle Mirror Only Work At Night?

Featured Replies

Was driving earlier with someone behind me, they had their lights on high and was very offputting for me.

Just wondered if the mirrors anti-dazzle gizmo is only supposed to work at night time? Because it wasnt dimming earlier but it usually does in the darkness.

Hopefully it isn't broken, any help appreciated.

Thanks!

It works once a beam of light hits the sensors on the mirror, be day or night time. Works very well on my Titanium with the tinted glass :)

No worries just went out then and tested and was fine, must not have been hitting the sensor strong enough :P

is it on the zetec? brochure doesn't tell me!

I haven't noticed it on my Zetec so assuming it doesn't have it. Will be on my new Titanium though :)

it comes along with auto lights and wipers i think.
