    you will need the serial number of the radio to generate the code. press 6 and 1 or 6 and 2 on your radio, this may display some data on the screen. the serial number starts with the letter 'm' followed by 6 numbers. then post this serial for a code. if you get no serial number in the data then you will need to pop your radio out and get the serial number off the rear of the radio.
