    If there was no way you could have stopped in time then I very much doubt you'll have been snapped. There's probably a few second delay between the lights going red and the camera kicking in just to make sure. For the likes of people who might be waiting to turn against oncoming traffic etc.

    Unfortunately as soon as the light turns to red, it turns the pizo strips in the ground on, did you get flashed? Many cameras are not active
