2001 Turbo Diesel Fiesta Van Problems

Hi, I am having problems starting my 2001 1.8 turbo diesel van. I am really hoping someone can help me try and work out what wrong with it. REally not having any luck with vehicles recently. Had it about 2 - 3 weeks. It was taking a while to start but eventually would start. I decided to change the glow plugs and also fitted a new battery not it did not improve. Some times it would fire up fine but then most of the time it would take a while. This morning it eventually started, drove down the road and it just cut out and the glow plug light briefly flashed on and off. I then could not get it started again. I have removed the diesel filter to check for blockage but couldnt see a blockage. I tried firing it up using easy start which did start it but then cut out straight away.

I would really appreciate any help or advice and I really do not know what to do next.

    UPDATE: I replaced the fuel filter yesterday and the van eventually started however after about 30 seconds it cut out and couldnt get it restarted. Does any one have any ideas or suggestions on what it could be?

    try cracking inj pipes to see if you have fuel
