just dropped a replacement engine in cant get it to start appears to be no spark .also after cranking for about 10 secs an audible beeping comes on just like when you turn off the ignition and remove key any ideas would be good cheers

    im not an electrician by trade, however check out the forums for other engine swap problems, there are generally problems with the ecu and the immobiliser being set up correctly. it does seem from your symptom that the immobiliser has disabled the ecu.

    hopefully someone else can give you something more concrete but there have been similar issues dealt with in the forums, good searching!
