Spring Has Arrived!

Featured Replies

The car failed its MOT recently due to both front springs being fractured at the very top. It wasnt apparent until they jacked it up, I certainly hadn't noticed it on the motorway the previous day and it seems to have bben like it for a couple of weeks! All replaced now, Just got to try and sue the council for damages!!

Now £120 lighter !! :(

I hope you are successful getting the Council to pay up. The only issue I can see is that the springs do look corroded where they have broken.

Thanks mate, yes that occured to me too, I,m not sure why they corroded where they did. I may treat the ends to a touch of rust eater first !! The find a suitable pothole to blame !! :D

haha, certainly give it a go, but they may ask to see the springs in person. Councils will do anything they can to ensure that they dont have to pay out, if that means spending a few quid to get a mate to look at it, to save them several hundred, they probably will!
