I picked my 10 plate zetec s up 4 weeks ago. Last weekend i cleaned it for the first time and i noticed that there was only privacy glass fitted to the rear drivers side quarter window and the rear window. The glass on the rear passenger quarter was normal glass. I rang the dealer and they agreed to replace the glass with the correct window which they did yesterday.

Has anyone else come across this, did it leave the factory like this or has someone botched a replacement. There was no sign of broken glass on the inside so i would guess it was like this from the factory. I cant believe i am the first to see this as the car is now 12 months old

I aspect the privacy glass fell out or got stolen ...

On a serious note, ZS come with Privacy glass as standard. so either a botched repair or the factory are having cut backs

No - only standard on Titanium, for ZS you need the Streetpack which is only available on petrol models.

No - Streetpack is only available on petrol ZS since March 2010 :P

My ZS was registered on 2nd March 2010 although it was built in August 2009

Its a 1.6 TDCi with streetpack (17" alloys and privacy glass (most of it!!!))
