Hi I just got my fiesta 3 days ago and noticed the petrol light came on once when it was just the 2 mini bars left on digital fuel gauge? Roughly how many miles should I get from the last 2 mini bars? Replies much appreciated thanks

    Do you have an onboard computer, if so it should tell you on that.

    The light will come on when the computer thinks you have 50miles of fuel left - this will depend on your driving style as to the exact quantity.

    It's the model previous to ours so I don't knlow if it's the same regarding this.

    I have a Mk6.5 Zetec and I don't have a digital fuel gague. The fuel light comes on at 50miles remaining (according to what the computer thinks).

    Should be the same - I had a 2006 MK6.5 before this and it was.

    On the Mk6 digital fuel gauge I think the two last bar's are roughly 50 mile's and the last bar is 25 mile's, The Mk6 face lift has the analogue gauge and the light come's on at 50 mile's and give's another warning at 25 mile's. Mk 7 only put's the fuel light on at 50 mile's.
