Ford Dealer Experience

Featured Replies

My wife has a 1 yr old Fiesta Zetec 1.4, bought from a car supermarket. She loves the car. Recently the boot has been opening when it shouldnt. Lock then it will un lock on its own.

Locked on some forums and see that this is not that unusual a problem, so tell my wife to book it in to the Ford garage, it is till under warranty.

Nearest Ford deler about 1 mile away, my wife phones and explains the problem and tells them that it appears this is not an unusal problem. They are not at all helpful and cant fit the car in for at least a week, maybe longer. Since we have found this unhelpful attitude before from this garage she then called the main Ford dealer in Norwich Busseys, who said come on in we will fix it while you wait. The are went in and was back out fixed in 40 minutes.

Guess which dealer we will be using regulalry. My son drives a Ford Ranger and that is also serviced at Busseys.

Well done Busseys keep up the good work.

There is good service garages out there, I thought I would share with the forum.

Nice one, I have three within 5 miles of me, i just play them off each other. Got £55 knocked off the price of the service last Saturday without a problem. If you're treated well, you go back, pity they don't all realise this.

There is a massive difference and its sad really. I bought my ZS from Dees wimbledon, at first i thought they were great, how wrong was I, My car was marked up at 9K got there still there, mines in blue they had a black one same spec £300 more 3000 miles less in panther black only differnce was the blue one had 16" tittanum wheels and the black one had the 17" street pack test drove both. told the black one was sold got £400 of the blue one, thought result.

went home looked on a couple of sites see the black one marked up at the same price as the blue one 9K thought odd as the salesman said £9300

any way paperwork complete due to pick up the car the next day. waited 1 1/2 hours between being spoken to initally and me spotting the black ZS being test drove, asked that saleman is that for sale said there is someone waiting for finance to be arranged, half hour later the women that test drove it put a deposit down and bought it, what a cheek. complained and was told oh sorry sir things do change, what within half hour ere no dont think so. any way they offered me a set of 17" allots and tyres or two services. took the wheels told two weeks took more like two months.

poeple please aviod Dees lie through there teeth to get a sale.
