Hey guys

Been out looking for a new car today, and found a fiesta but looking at the boot well i found what looks to be patching.

Can someone take a picture of a MK6 bootwell for me more to the area on the right of the spare wheel.

Im not sure if its had rust and been patched up or what.

Thanks if anyone can get a pic for me

    IIRC my one had black patchy bits around the spare wheel well, however, I don't have the car any more to take a pic :(

    I think it's normal though, but I didn't buy that car new, so that could of been previously patched for whatever reason.

    Thanks for the reply mark. Ive had a second look at the car, and the exhaust is pretty rusted, so bad that its rusted off one of the support arms. I wonder if the rust has come through the boot, and the patching i can see is a repair.

    I'm gonna mention this when i ring them later today and see what they will do about the exhaust, as i'm sure it wont pass an MOT like that.

    Yes I think its normal as well.The patches will be body colour.Dont know what they are for but its not some accident repair job.

    GothicRebel the patches you are talking about are normal, both my Mk6's had them. Think they are for sound deadening on the boot floor. Similar to the patch on the left of this image
