Redex Fuel Injector Cleaners/additives Are They Harmful To Mk7 Fiesta

Featured Replies

Good Afternoon All

Firstly can I apologise as I know a similar thread has been uploaded on to the Focus section of the site, what I wanted to ask is can we use the Redex fuel injector cleaners/additives in the mk7 Ford Fiesta's? I've used this stuff on my mk4 and assisted with keeping things clean, wasn't sure if the mk7 Fiesta engine has bits fitted that might get damaged if I used Redex additives.

Also, can we use the PowerBoost cleaner on a mk7? Its the spray that you usually spray through the induction pipe, again I used this stuff on my m4 and it worked a treat.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

The Redex shouldn't do any harm, but I doubt if it will do any good either.

Is the car running okay? If so, why do you want to use it?
