The Fiesta Zetec comes with 15" alloys as standard but when I ordered it, I upgraded them to 16" and also chose the 'spare wheel' option over the 'repair kit'. The optional spare steel wheel is 14" but, as I had 16" alloys fitted, should it have been a 15" spare steel wheel???

    hi i have a 59 titanium and 16 in alloys opted for spare and it is a 14inch had to use it once and was ok.:D

    i have a zetec and wanted the 16" wheels but was told i couldn't have them for that car so went for the 4 spoke 15" wheels instead and spare wheel.

    The spare wheel is 14" - that's just what it is. Only designed to get you home/nearest garage and can't go over 50mph so size isn't important.

    Don't worry.

    The alloys are low profile and the spare is high profile. The difference in diameter is almost negligible.

    And as another FM said, it is only designed to get you to the nearest garage/home at under 50MPH.
