Hi All,

Just a quick question to see what kind of bulbs people are using in their head lights? I was recommended to use Philips bulbs and have gone through 2 sets of Philips Blue Vision H7 4000K in the last 4months. I dont rate these bulbs at all.

I am thinking of getting a set of Philips Diamond Vision H7 5000K, but wanted to know if they are ok to use in the Fiesta Mk7?

I would get down to your local dealer - this is a known fault and there is a fix

Should a customer express concern about repeated, blown headlamp bulbs on one or both headlamps, the probable cause is a voltage spike in the electrical vehicle system.

To rectify this concern, an resistor wire should be installed on both headlamps between the current electrical socket and the headlamp bulb H7.

Another "fault" to add to my list, yay!

Out of interest.... Who pays for the replacement bulb? Me or Ford?

My set of blue visions blew within 4 months (5,000 miles) I'll see how long the standard Phillips bulbs last, the one side has already covered 3 months, the blue vision bulb it replaced only managed 2 months.

I wouldn't mind but the bulbs were £40 a pair.

Along with the random rattles in the cabin when going 60-70mph and the constantly annoying buzz from the climate control fan behind the dashboard thats already been "fixed" once with a supposed software update.

The car in general is beginning to !Removed! me right off :(

Not to mention the shocking quality of the titanium 15 spoke alloys that buckle on the smallest of pot holes.
