A while ago I thought about taking a GPS phone apart and hiding it inside my car, wired up it would let me trace my car my phone on the Google Latitude program. The idea was, if the car was ever stolen, I'd have a satellite view to where it was, and even sat nav directions to where it was! A normal day-to-day use would be if you parked in an unfamiliar place, you'd easily be able to find your way back to your car.

Anyway, I just saw this video on youtube, which does the same thing and has more features, thinking I may order one and whack it deep in the secret hole or something? What do you guys think?

Buy a cheap Android phone with GPS and download the "where`s my droid" app! and fit in the car with a car charger... you need to send a password text, and it will send you back the GPS position...

:D

it also good if you just lost your phone...
