Hi all my first post , i hope its in the correct place! i have a problem with my tailgate not opening on an estate 55 plate as follows.

when using the key fob ( i only have 1) unlock the car all doors open except the tailgate, then you have to use the tailgate button on the fob to open it. it did work and now does not. its a pain when putting dodg in boot etc as you have to go and take the key out the ignition first, i want all the doors and boot to be open. can anyone help, i have read this is a problem and i have looked at the boot switch, it only works after using the key fob boot open button.
