CT211070
Hi Everyone Recently bought a 3yr old 2.0 Diesel Edge Mondeo after owning a petrol version for the past 7 years. The first day after buying the engine warning light came on - phoned AA who said "common problem with Mondeo's, it will go off if the performance is still OK". It didn't go off! Got a diagnostic check with came up with a Cat Temperature Sensor fault - eventually when it was looked at we were told it was because of the lack of fuel in it (when we bought it), so the light was turned off and all seemed ok. Anyway, on the dual carriageway today it came back on - there was a slight "jump" earlier on but generally all seems OK apart from this engine light. Just hoping I havent bought a lemon! Is this really normal for Mondeo's? Thanks
