Hello chaps mk7 zetec s owner with alarm problem goes of all the time the missus said display said bonnet was open when it was shut solid do you think it is the bonnet switch that is at fault and should the warranty cover this cheer Roy

    Sounds like you're right, the car's thinking the bonnets open when it isn't. Take it in for Ford to look at, Warranty should cover it, as something's obviously faulty.

    Mine goes in tuesday for service the missus is going to get them to have a look at alarm problem i will keep you updated mate they will probaley fob her of with some nonsense and give her a bill lol
