Hi can anyone help?

ive just bought a 1981 escort xr3 and dont agree with the insurance company`s valuation so they have asked me to get my own valuation, has anyone got there own before?????

any info greatful.

    Depends on condition etc

    Best bet is Autotrader or similar places.

    How much have they valued it at?

    These vary greatly. Very poor condition ones are only £300 or there abouts and mint ones can go for up to £2500-3000.

    But to be honest an average one is probably around the £1000 mark.

    Hi thanks for reply, the vehicle is in mint condition and just had a 4 year body and mechanical restoration

    autotrader and similar company`s dont deal with vehicles of this age.Im looking for a company that will come out an value it but have never used any hence looking for advise.
