Fiesta Mk3 Zetec Blacktop 2L Problems

hi there i have just purchased a 2l fiesta mk3 2l mondeo blacktop conversion. the clutch has just started to slip. i have been told by previous owner it still has the 1.6 gearbox and flywheel etc. also the air filter is a stupid open cone and i think i am gettting bad heatsoak from manifold . the brakes are rs2000 calipers and discs. when i press the brakes theres nothing there then the brakesd operate fully. then after approximately 20 seconds of driving with out braking you have to fully press the brake pedal to the floor then the brakes will work properly on the next press of the pedal. i have fully bled the calipers and drums on rear . i kinda have mechanical knowledge, anybody have any ideas.

what is the best inlet manifold for the blacktop engine. mine currently has the 1800 inlet but i have been told the plastic manifold of a 1.8 zetec has larger internal bores.

sorry for the long winded post and if you havent fell asleep any help would be grately appreciated as retro is the way forward
