Hi all, I have a problem with the light on the dash that warns that a door is open. Sometimes when driving along the road, if I hit a bump, the door warning light comes on along with the interior lights. Then when I lock the doors, it may or may-not go out. I think it may be a problem with one of the door switches but I cannot find them. It has had a slight prang on the tailgate, could this have something to do with it? I would be grateful for any ideas you may have.

    new fords have the swithes built into the catch, check the area of damage for signs of trapped wire as it could be a wire rubbing body. if wires are good borrow a catch off a friend if poss or search ebay for "breaking fusion" and ask a seller how much, good luck, steve
