Relays On A Mk4 Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi I have a 1999 Ford fiesta which I've not long bought, the rear winscreen wiper and heated screen don't work. I was told it may be the contacts in the tail gate or the tail gate pins not earthing properly but I've cleaned them all and still no joy. Also on the stalk for the wipers the front winscreen wipers come on in which ever postion it's in (wheather it's up or down), leads me to think it's a relay but I've pulled out all the relays one by one and no matter which one I pull out the wipers still work, so I'm at a loss as to which relay it is and where it is? I've check all of them under the bonent and the ones behind the fuse box drivers side. Any help please I'd be grateful. I have a hayes manual but it doesn't give you the layout of the relays??????

Thanks in advance

Lee
