Escort Rear View

Hi I have just picked up a Escort MK 6 I think, N reg anyway, 1.6 Zetec. There was no interior rear view mirror so I bough one from an accessory shop,but I have found it impossible to position it so that I can see out of the rear window clearly. Any tips ? tia

Have just won an auction on 'bay for the correct Ford mirror for 4.50 incl post, so well pleased.

Ideal.

I know these universal ones are ok but as so many windscreens are different angles its a job to get one that adjusts correctly
