Hi all, I've just joined this site and it's the first owners club I've ever joined...

The car I own is a limited edition (so limited, it doesn't even have power steering !!!) Ford Fiesta Classic Quartz 1.8 diesel. It's on a P plate but it's the N plate shape. I recently started to do it up myself as I was told last year when I took it for MOT to scrap it. NOT A CHANCE ! I can't be doing bad cos this time it only needed a rear wheel bearing and it passed !

The thing is that the bulbs for the dash lights for example needed replacing. I went to various motor shops and they didn't have any. They couldn't even order them because they said they must have stopped making them. Either they were a LOT larger or a LOT smaller.

This is a problem I find keeps repeating over and over. Does anybody know where to get hold of parts other then Ford itself as my money is limited when it comes to buying car parts. I would appreciate any help about any aspect of this car...

    Welcome to the forum! Any pics of that car? :P

    All I can suggest for finding parts is the internet, there's many specialist sites out there that still make replacement parts for older cars. I don't know any off the top of my head. But google will be your friend. Hopefully someone else will be more help!

    I cant believe that dash bulbs are different in your model compared to any other.

    Go to the scrappy and have a look.
