Low Visibility Problem

Featured Replies

The place is Eggardon Hill in Dorset, Altitude almost 900 ft. Its prone to low cloud! and the interesting driving conditions created thereafter! Vis was less than 50ft. the road we're on has a drop of around 700 ft into the valley below on the left side of the car. Its a single track road with passing places and there are no barriers! No place for nervous drivers or boy racers!! These were taken last Saturday (25th) on our way home from holiday.....enjoy....

Looks like you're about to drive off a cliff!

It felt like it, Luckily i know every inch of that road as have used it dozens of times. In clear weather the view is spectacular. Its part of an old Roman road that comes off of the A35 to the West of Dorchester. and goes almost perfectly straight right up to the Eggardon Hill fort.
