Auxillary Belt Snapped

Featured Replies

I have 2008 mondeo 1.8tdci ,I beleive it has a cam chain and auxillary belt, the auxillary belt snapped after 50k, anybody got any ideas of the damage and cost this has caused,

thanks

As long as you stopped as soon as it snapped then there wouldnt be any damage at all, the auxillary belt works the alternator/air con/water pump/power steering (may be two belts) obviously get it fixed before using the car.
