Hi all. Ive got an 05 KA. Never had a problem with the car before but the other day i was driving along and as i went to change gear I just could not get the gear. you wouldnt have got it in there with a sledge hammer. managed to get it in third so carried on but next time i went to change I couldnt get any gear. Didnt lose the clutch pedal pressure but just couldnt get any gear.

Got a tow from a friend of a friend to his garage and once there he got it in gear as normal. Just wondering if anyone could guess at what it might be. My initial thought was linkage but my bro said it could be the selctor plate has slipped under the gear knob gaitor.

Any ideas?
