I cant seem to see anything anywhere but dont want to risk it. It will get new filters, engine management updates and everything will be tightened up as things work loose in the first 12 months. You can get it done elswhere, but they must use Ford approved parts and follow the correct service requirements for that particular service, otherwise the warrenty may be void. The other thing is, if you keep the car and want to sell it at a later date, do you want a loacal garage on the service history? Also when your options up or if you want to exchange for another car, they may reduce the value as its not been main dealer serviced.
