The engine on my 1800 Mondeo, registered 29/06/2007, has had it. I'll need to replace it with a second-hand engine. The code on the existing engine is CHBB. All the second-hand ones I have been able to find are coded CHBA/BB. Can anyone tell me if they are the same thing - that is, whether one of these CHBA/BB engines will do to replace the CHBB? Any help would be appreciated!
