I bought a 57 Focus during the summer. Since the onset of cooler evenings I have become aware of the fact that rolling down the windows does not clear moisture from the outside of the glass. In every car I have ever owned the seals cleared the moisture to one extent or another. Ford are now telling me that the seals are no longer designed to remove the moisture. So (a) what's the point of the seals and (B) is it not a retrograde step to make drivers carry a cloth with them to clear the windows? Crazy.
