Its Service Time Of Year :(

Featured Replies

Hi,

I bought my 6 year old Focus 1.8 diesel last year and it is now due its service and MOT. The dealership rang me today and quoted me £389 for just the service. This seems a little excessive, but as a first time Ford customer, i just assumed that this is what i should pay?

Having read through a few forums on here, it sems to be something to do with EOLYS?(?) fluid and the DPF filter. I dont want to shell out bucket loads for just the service if they are going to sting me for a new filter on top.

Any ideas?

Its my first post so please be gentle!!!

Has anyone used 'Servicing Stop' to service their cars? They seem to do the same thing, provide stuff under warranty and are not a bad price!
