hi all sum more teething troubles me reversing lights have gone off .. sometimes flicker but never stay on ..where is the switch???on the box??? on the leaver????

and me horns gone off ....checked all fuses, fuses are fine and the bulbs are fine. and tested the horn it works off the battery but not from steering wheel ..how do i remove the airbag without setting it off to check the horn depress button and there is no return of the horn pad i think the springs have gone

any help would b much app as u know i hate admitting defeat and have to stick it in auto electricians

Hi the reverse light switch is on the front of the gearbox, just remove the wireing plug and put a bit of wire accross the two connecters ans when you switch the ignition on the lights will come on if the switch is faulty. If no lights then its not the switch. Hope that helps Dave

Not sure if the two are on the same relay, may be worth dropping the fuseboard and checking all relays and fuses are in situ comfortably...

u need to remove the air bag fuse, and then discount the battery in order to remove the steering wheel with the airbag inside,

just found a iluminted white rocker switch just going to hook lights up to that if everything ells fails

the fuse board is fine .. ??? looked for a switch on ebay .cant find 1 and ford parts is shut when im not at work typical
