Buying Advice

Appreciate any advice you can give

Ok this is the two deals

Both 58 plate 2008 models

Both 1.6 TDCI

Zetec with 18000

Titanium with 55000 ( and sport appearance bodykit factory fitted!)

Price difference is £1500 in favour of the Titanium.

Why would I want the 55000 mile car over the 18000?

What would you pick (answers like it has the bodykit doesnt help!!!)

many thanks!

OK well Zetec is my favoured, it might not look as fun or have the gadgets but its done a lot less miles, and as such will probably have been "abused" less? The Titanium will have more gadgetry, but at the same time more to go wrong. As they both have DPF filters, are they both CDPF? if not, then you want the car with lower mileage as it would take a lot less time before it needs replacing.

It really depends if you prefer high mileage, I see it as the more mileage its done the harder its worked. Thats not necessarily a bad thing, but it depends if you think the car is worth it!

What was your gut response?
