Fuel Filler Cap

Hello all, I have just bought an 04 1.8 petrol cmax and unfortunately someone has stolen the fuel Filler cover ( I think they were trying to siphon fuel!!!).

The plastic mechasnism still works and locks and unlocked with the central locking. Ford have said it will be £100 to order the metal disc and spray it! And didnt infer a price to fit! But Cant imagine it is difficult!!!

Does anyone know if I can use a flap cover from a focus or mondeo or other ford as I can find ruder for scrap for dirt cheap! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Im sure that the covers would be the same size! they tend to be universal on a model like this, especially when its based on the body of the focus anyway... its always worth taking a look at your scrappy with a ruler and a notepad, and have a look, take measurements and see if they match up...
