I have just bought a 2000 V reg Puma, and the heater does not blow cold just seems to get hotter and hotter. Does anyone know why this is and how to cure the problem?. Also it seems to misfire sometimes, are these problems related?

    Hi

    It is most likely the heater control valve. Its a very common fault and fairly easy to replace. You can buy one from Fords for under £40 and there are just four water pipes and one electrical connection to disconnect and reconnect. If you look under the bonnet in the centre and on top of the bulkhead you can see it.
