The heater on my mondeo zetec 2L only blows for a few seconds then just stops. I have topped up the coolant fluid and it is now warm as it was just cold and last night the temperature guage nearly hit max so i put the heater on and it suddenly dropped back to normal. I'm not sure if this is related but does anybody know what is wrong with the heater? Thanks :unsure:

    You may have a air lock and also the heater control valve are common to pack up on them.
