hi all ,im a forum virgin ,please be kind

my problem is my air bag warning light has come on .once the car is warm and i restart the car it resets itself.now this might sound strange but i think its temperature related ie warm mornings it dosent do it and when its cold it seems to do it more,im guessing(hopefully)its a sticking relay ,is it in the engine bay or inside the car? thanks in advance .dunk

ps my car is a 2000 ford focus 1.8 tddi ghia

    Hi mate, a Audi i used to have did this only on cold mornings when it used the glow plugs for longer, it turned out it had the wrong battery fitted and the glow plugs were taking alot out of the battery. Check your battery is the correct one for the car and it is fully charged. Hope that helps Dave

    mmmmm now theres a thought ,will check that,it has had a battery in the last few months, kinda coincides with the problem................thanks for that dave
