I have a Ford Fiesta 55 reg and my heaters are making a screeching noise. I have been told that I may need a new heater blower motor, but is this an expensive thing? Is this definitely what I need? I dont want to waste money and find out I still have the problem.

The car still heats up, but just makes an intermittent screeching noise when doing so - some days it doesnt even make the noise at all, but other days the sreeching is so bad, I have to turn the settings down to 0 and have no heat or cool air coming into the car at all!!

    I would look to getting one from a breakers or a used one online. No idea about price but should be easy enough to fit.
