Mondeo Tdci Drivers Seat Stuck !!

hi everyone new member so please be easy on me.

just bought a 2004 mondeo 2.0 tdci lx but the drivers seat wont slide the handle doesnt seem to move up all the way have tried to see if anything is jammed ,but cant see anything i have unbloted the seat and the slider nearest the seem free but the other side is stuck fast but i couldnt take the seat out because i was worried about the wires connected to the seat any ideas i`m not a mechanic so simple please

solved just unbolted seat again could`nt see anything so grabed a torch and found that the guide teeth between the runner and the locking mech. one had bent right into the locking holes big hammer and screwdriver five minutes !Removed! fingers and blue language now runner works perfect
