Glove box light, MK5 Fiesta (51 plate)

Featured Replies

Hiya! Sorry for my first post being a question but I'm sure your help is invaluable.

Basically, recently I have bought a MK5 Fiesta and there is no light in the glove box, not that one doesn't work, there isn't one. I was wondering if it is possible to get the light kit from eBay or a scrappy and fit it myself, though I can't see any place where it would fit?

It is quite the nuisance when trying to converse in there whilst it's dark.

I was wondering if anyone has done this mod before or where I could maybe find a guide, or for someone to guide me through it, pictures are great also :)

Thanks in advance for any help given, much appreciated!

Skibbz.

Going to do this to mine soon. Theres a few on Ebay qite cheap. They come off the Fiesta Ghia model and the bracket is next to the glovebox latch. Put the light in there and route the wires through the top of the glovebox and take them to an earth and a live (cigarette lighter is usually a good easy one or the clock)
