1.8 Tdci, Coolant, Abs, Traction Control Lights All On Together

Featured Replies

HI All,

Well the latest snag to appear on this dross mobile is as follows;

Driving home this evening, pulled out from a junction, lost power and the coolant, ABS and traction lights came on all together. They went out and power returned but it left the glow plug light flashing, this light cleared after a restart.

Later on it repeats itself, however all the gauges also crashed to zero for a second and then jumped back up to their proper positions!

Any ideas guys?

It is the first time I have driven it in heavy rain, if that is a clue?

Fixed it, main fuse box supply and battery positive pole connection were both loose.

Solved many other minor issues as well, as you might expect.

Mark is happy again :-)
