NEED HELP - my 54 plate Fiesta Diesel was running perfect until yesterday when serpentine (fan) belt

snapped. The engine cut out instantly, and since replacing the belt I cannot get it running again.

Timimg belt is fine, engine turns over a treat but no go.

Can anyone guide me what to look at?

    if the engine stopped instantley when the belt snapped it could of caught a wire to a sensor someware, check all the wiring to any sensors you can find and make sure its all ok.

    spot on thanks very much had ripped the wire for crank shaft sensor starting and running fine thankyou v much saved me a fortune on diagnostics call out
