Key Question [Probably Stupid!]

Featured Replies

Hi. Just purchased a very well used, but lovely 2002 Fiesta Freestyle. Only got two keys with it, one for the ignition and one for the doors. My question is, does this model support a remote? No manuals came with it so have very little info. If this model accepts a remote, would love to get one! I am sure this list will be able to tell me!

Thanks.

The same key should unlock the doors and start the car. It must have had the ignition barrel, or door locks changed at some point.

If you have central locking, it would be easy enough to connect a remote locking unit. I fitted one I bought off eBay for a KA2 we owned some years ago. It had an additional button to trigger an additional switch which I wired to the boot release.
